BUILD DESCRIPTION

This is one of my favorite v1's, and thats saying something considering that I own like 20. I use one of Maitland's spacers for this, I like his best since you can cut them to whatever cylinder you like, and I had to do some serious cutting for this. First off the new a55 cylinders have a bit better porting, which I left untouched, however I did have to cut off most of the skirt to stop the rod from smacking the cylinder, and absolutely use the brass head gasket that comes with these cylinders, they will not seal properly with out them. I kept the stock 14mm PHVA carb, which worked well, I was using a Simonini pipe but decided to later switch it out for a tomo Homeot. Next up I re-geared the bike slightly, 11x40, this bike is super fun, starts right up, is quiet, and will hold 38mph all day.
