This Maxi is my first build. I picked it up on Craig's List for $150. Most of the parts were there. It turned over but wouldn't start. My goal was to turn this thing into a functioning moped that looks cool on a budget. So I took it apart and got started.
Here's what I've done so far. A little more to go. Stay tuned for updates!
- removed all extra parts and trim
- new drag handlebars and grips
- dropped the seat
- cleaned and sanded everything
- sprayed some parts with black bed liner
- bare metal frame is treated with Gibbs Brand
- replaced and custom fit all cables
