So, all of my friends were building Harley Iron and Shovel Chops. I decided to build a moped in a similar fashion that they were, but with a derbi motor! Body Stuff • The frame was a 70s 50cc dirtbike of some sort, that I ended up making a hardtail for • Wheels were originally from that same bike • Forks were from a yz250 • Fender was from my suzuki gt250 that I just so happened to have laying around • The seat was a $10 purchase from a local motorcycle swap meet. • The handlebars were stock maxi handle bars heated and bent in with a rebar cross section welded in. • The headlights were cheap truck lights from autozone • The Gas Tank was the mini sportster tank from Throttle Addiction • CR80 Radiator • Bosch VW auxiliary water pump • Sealed Cell Battery Motor • Derbi Flat Reed • HPI Inner Rotor • New Crank • Pedal Delete kit • MLM Gila Reed Adapter • Custom Intake • TJT Variator • Custom Pullstart • Peugeot Speedfight 70cc Airsal Kit
