When I bought the TFR it was hardly running, mostly under the suspicion that it had a leaky carb (which it did). upon cleaning the carb and finding no difference, the pipe was inspected to find huge amounts of residue blocking the stock pipe. After drilling the pipe to allow exhaust passage, a full evaluation of the mopeds problems could then be followed out. As it turned out, other than major carburetor issues, the fuel line did not flow freely, and the ignition cable was so damaged with oil that it was causing the engine to misfire. So with a new 12mm Vespa SHA, high flow air box, new fuel line, fuel filter, and NGK racing ignition cable and iridium plug, we were ready to go! I then cut of the rear luggage rack, and removed the hideous fenders. I also swapped the large euro style handle bars for clip ons.
