Bought the bike from a buddy for $75 a couple months ago. I've never been into mopeds but I'm beginning to feel the craze. Managed to acquire a 125cc eggroll engine for $20 bucks just to do something slightly different. Chopped the fender, cut up the seat for the original pan, Rupp rmt gas tank mounted to an ebr cross bar, one of a kind taillight made from a showerhead... I've got all kinds of plans for this bike, I was waiting until I made a little more progress before I started the build log, but I couldn't resist. I may not be the fastest builder but ill do my best to humor as many as I can. Update 10/29/14: haven't done very much on this build lately. I've since taken a break since I am in desperate need of a car and my job doesn't fund both. But anyway, fabricated a license plate bracket, got some new 340mm shocks as recommended, and a 5 star front wheel stripped bare and recoated gloss black. I've always liked the look of spoke covers and looking on eBay they're not cheap. So here's some poor man's 16" pizza tray covers. Or one at least, I still have to drill some more holes and mount the other side. Well folks that's all I've got for now. Hopefully one day this build will take off.

Sweet!
Adam Arsenault:
With the extra weight of the new engine I could barely get over a speed bump with that thing. I would raise the rear shocks to 340mm if I could do it all over again. Those engines are mad torquey with the stock rear sprocket. Kinda wish I still had mine now haha.
Jeremiah P:
Haha I was planning on dropping the rear to 280mm shocks.. yours doesn't look like its riding too low. Does it just come too close for comfort on cornering? And I was planning running front disc either with the ebr forks and 5 star conversion kit or some other method I can dig around for.
Adam Arsenault:
I've done this before with the engine swap. Invest in taller shocks because that engine will hang LOW and your breaks might wanna be upgraded. Check out my Little Donkey build.
