BUILD DESCRIPTION

This ciao began as a swap meet find. Pretty rough and had been sat in the weather. Engine seized, rusty as. Ciaos are pretty uncommon here in Australia- so I was pretty keen to get it back on the road. The frame was blasted and powder coated- "space blue". engine rebuilt, new clutch, transmission rebuilt. I was thinking of re- chroming the rims or even powdercoating them, but Aluminium foil, water and elbow grease took out much of the rust. Saved the old wiring too. New SHA 13 carb and a cheapo tecno exhaust and we're running sweet. I don't have the rear rack, so I made up a bracket to hold the rear guard rigid. I was planning to go silly tuning this thing next....till i picked up a SI!
