Scrap parts build starting with a Pinto frame someone hacked a top bar into, a Garelli VIP tank, rigid forks. Engine is a 4 bearing E50 bottom with a case matched korado top end. Custom seat balanced on a stock Puch seat spring that has been clipped in half. Custom front fender decal, old school treats headlight. Still needs wiring, tail light, cables, controls, rear tube/tire and fork bearings. The head tube is way long, so I need to shim things out a bit somehow. Update: 2/5/2016 - Welded up some new bars, got the pedal chain on, carb, new flip up gas cap. Update: 2/21/2016 - Got it all buttoned up and tuned. Managed to throw the pedal chain, found the petcock leaked like crazy, The rear tire came off the rim twice while testing, but it goes. It's throwing some smoke while I'm at WOT. Have to see if it's just the old baffle burning out crud, or I may have a seal leak. I have a chamber to weld on, but I need a larger header.
Brent Bublitz:
The bars wind up being a little tight. It would be better if the seat was farther back, but it's pretty comfy.
justin tolentino:
what are those bars like? id like to see the riding stance… dig the outline...
Derek Stahl:
Pinto/swinger2/Kromag frame, not free spirit.
Evan Folwarski:
rigid front end. that's gotta beat the crap out of you!
