This was a customer build for a new track specific race bike that I built on a budget with a supplied pre-assembled engine and supplied specific frame parts. This bike was built over 4 days from scratch for the opening weekend of the Portland, OR moped race season. Some of the more interesting details are the metal for the cross bar is 1mm wall steel tubing used for bicycle frames (so much lighter than normal cross bars), the rear sets are from a Suzuki Bandit, the tires are 2.75x17 Heidenau K56s (which are not easy to fit in a Peugeot subframe), and the seat is a custom fiberglass unit. This is the first build of the bike and will be refined over the race season as it gets ridden and improved. So there will be plenty of new stuff as time goes by on this one and I'll update any major changes as they happen.
